Quake City Team Options
Power League
For the competitive volleyball player. Practices will primarily be at Castilleja. Power teams will practice two days a week with small group – positional practices on specific weekend dates when the team does not have a tournament. Power teams will participate in the NCVA Power League (which includes a two-day qualifier, three league tournaments and two-day Regional Championships) and four additional tournaments. Power teams require a larger commitment. Playing time is performance based and not guaranteed.
Premier League
For the competitive player looking for a lighter commitment. Practices will be twice a week taking place at SportsHouse or peninsula gym location and teams will participate in 6-8 tournaments. The Premier program is for girls that may be participating in other activities and cannot commit to the full training requirements of the Power League, but want to continue to play in a competitive environment.
D-League
For the player looking to gain more experience in a flexible program. Practices are once a week at Castilleja and teams will participate in 4 local tournaments. The goal of this program is to teach proper technique, basic team systems, and to have fun! The D-League is run directly by the Varsity coaches at Castilleja.
