Quake City Volleyball JACQUELINE HELER
Quake City Volleyball
Jacqueline Heler grew up in Palo Alto and graduated and played for Santa Clara University. During her redshirt year, she began coaching for West Valley Junior College and Vision Volleyball Club.
Following graduation, she continued to play professionally in the top leagues of France and Switzerland for 7 years. Whilst in Switzerland, she completed a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Masters in Leadership Psychology.
Towards the end of her playing career, Jacqueline began coaching again in the semi professional second division in Switzerland, at the University of Fribourg, and at the International School of Lausanne. She also began working as a Performance Psychologist at the EPFL in Lausanne.
In 2013, Jacqueline moved back to California with her husband to open a preschool. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, currently coaches at Castilleja High School and lives in Los Altos with her husband and baby girl. -

GABY LUNA VICTORIA
Gaby was raised in Redwood City, and is currently a junior at Sequoia High School. She has been on the varsity volleyball team since her freshman year, and has qualified for CCS in both 2014 and 2015. Gaby began playing volleyball since fourth grade, and club since sixth grade. She played one year at Nexxt, four years at Red Rock, and one year at Academy. In the 2013-2014 season, she was on the Red Rock 14-1 team that qualified for the Junior National Championships.
Gaby coached the Quake 14 Premier last season with Coach Kaya and has coached Red Rock fall and summer clinics for 3 years, and has also worked with the Pebbles Program. She has worked at Decathlon Sports Club for 4 years; 2 years as a junior counselor in training, and 2 as a Junior Counselor. She looks forward to coaching in the future.
When Gaby is not playing volleyball or doing something volleyball related, she enjoys playing piano, spending time with her friends, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and traveling. She also loves working with kids, tutoring, and coaching.

Quake City Volleyball Praneet graduated from Valley Christian High School in San Jose, CA. He lettered 4 years as a varsity setter, while also playing football and basketball. He attended SJSU and graduated with a BS in Management Information Systems in 2005. He is currently the varsity head coach at Gunn High School in Palo Alto. He has coached both boys and girls in the Peninsula Area.
Quake City Volleyball
In 2014, he led the Mt. View JV boys to a 21-5 overall record and a JV League title. He has also coached 6th and 7th grade boys and girls basketball at Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos, CA. In 2015, he coached Red Rock 14 Black to an Open Division bid at Nationals. Prior to joining Red Rock in 2014, he head coached 12 Black, 13 Black, and 14 Black and Blue power teams at Stingray Volleyball Club for 4 years.
When he is not coaching he loves to ride his motorcycle, go hiking, watch old western films as well as cheer on his favorite baseball team...Go Giants! -
Quake City Volleyball KAYA JOHNSON

Kaya was raised in a small town, Grass Valley, in Northern California. She was a varsity starter at Bear River High School that won two league championships and a section championship as well. Kaya was named MVP, and was named all-league setter. Kaya competed in various clubs including Cal-Synergy (now Synergy Force) and NCVC.
She is currently a junior setter competing in collegiate volleyball nearby at Menlo College. In college her team has grasped to Cal-Pac Championships.
Kaya enjoys hiking, watching Grey's Anatomy, and spending time with friends and family in her free time. -

Bella grew up in Northern Californial in San Mateo, CA her whole life. She attended San Mateo High school, and currently goes to Foothill College.
At San Mateo High she played all four years on varsity as an outside or middle blocker. Making all tournament team her junior and senior year of high school. She played club volleyball for Encore and Vision, making it to Junior Nationlals her 16s through 18s year. She is currently playing indoor and beach at Foothill College, where she helped her indoor team finish fourth in California last season.
Last year, she coached 14's at Palo Alto Volleyball Club, and has helped coached at Elite Volleyball club and Encore Volleyball club,
In Bella's spare time she works at the Riekes Center based in Menlo Park, CA as the front desk/ receptionist. But when she is free will spend her time watching her favorite reality TV shows while eating Chipotle. -

Herman has lived in the Bay Area since 1997 moving from SoCal and prior to that from the East Coast.
His first full-time head coaching position was at Menlo-Atherton HS where he guided the 2002 JV team to a 2nd place finish in the PAL league. Since 2004, he has been at Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton) in various coaching capacities coaching the Freshman, JV and Varsity teams. In 2011 and 2013, the SHP Gators finished as California Division IV State finalists. He has coached at different clubs including Eclipse, SF Tremors, Storm, Paye’s and Academy of Volleyball where some of his teams have won regional championships. In 2011 and 2013, he was an assistant coach for the NCVA Select White teams that participated in USAV HP Championships in Arizona and Iowa.
He has attended USA Volleyball Impact, CAP I and Gold Medal Squared clinics as well as a few USA Volleyball's HP Coaches Clinics in Colorado Springs.
With a Chemistry degree, Herman has worked as a scientist for various local Bay Area biotech companies. A competitive bowler, he competes locally and regionally. -

Adrienne grew up in Millbrae, CA, attended Mills High School and is currently starting school at Santa Clara University where she plans to study Engineering.
She has played volleyball since 4th grade and ended her school career as team captain for two years on her varsity volleyball team. She played as an outside hitter for her younger years and eventually solidified her position as libero. She joined club volleyball at the age of 10 with SF Juniors, SF Tremors and moved on to Red Rock where she played till her 18s year. Out of the 8 years of club, she has qualified for Nationals five times.
Adrienne helped coach her local middle school team, ran summer camps and worked clinics at SF Tremors and Red Rock. Her favorite TV shows include Friends and Orange is the New Black. On of her talents include eating a bag of lime hot Cheetos in one sitting. -

Megan was born and raised in the Bay Area. She grew up watching her sister play volleyball and ended up playing it herself. She played volleyball at Homestead High School all four years, three years of which were on the varsity team which made it all the way to CCS finals each year.
She played at club volleyball for eight years, playing as an outside hitter - opposite and setter at City Beach the past 5 years. After graduating high school, Megan has been coaching volleyball clinics and she looks forward to coaching at Stanford Juniors!
In her free time she likes to dance, volunteer at animal shelters and play more volleyball! -
Quake City Volleyball MELISSA CHENG

Melissa is a Bay Area native, and a 2013 graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising. Melissa competed as a setter at AAU and was part of the pioneer team that established the volleyball program there, which in her junior year became the first and only art school competing in intercollegiate volleyball on the NCAA level.
She attended Homestead High School in Sunnyvale, California, and was a setter on the Homestead teams that won Central Coast Section and Northern California championships and reached the State Championship in two consecutive years. Melissa also has extensive coaching experience at the high school, club level, and junior college in the Bay Area, most recently at Cañada College Redwood City, California.
